17 Mile slackpack today up 4200 ft Kinsman Mountain. Hand over hand climbing on slick granite up a flooded creekbed of a trail. 5200 ft Mt. Lafayette tommorow.

    Oh man, if you have clear skies, Lafayette is unbelievable. When you get to Pinkham Notch, it's possible to get a hitch to Gorham (a few reasonably priced hostels there) and a slack from Pinkham back to Gorham.
