Saw multiple beaver ponds today with awesome dams that retained ponds at higher elevations than the trail next to them. We hiked on wooden planks to avoid muck.
I've enjoyed the first few miles of Vermud, but jumping from stone to stone amongst the flooded, muddy sections of trail is kind of annoying. No views yet here.
Entering Vermont today where we will finally hit some real mountains! 2 States to go after that. Estimated finish date: June 30 with a plane ticket home July 6.
